Suns guard Bledsoe to have knee surgery
Phoenix Suns guard Eric Bledsoe has a torn meniscus in his left knee and will be out indefinitely, the team announced Sunday. In his 2013-2014 season, he missed 33 games with a partial meniscus tear in his right knee. McDonough would say only that he hopes Bledsoe returns later this season.

The Suns will still look to run with Knight taking over the point, but Booker’s insertion into the starting lineup will lead to a more traditional look on the offensive end.
Bledsoe has been everything you thought he would be heading into the National Basketball Association season, averaging 20.9 PTS, 4.1 REB, 6.3 AST, 1.6 3PM and 35.0 MIN per game.
Both Phoenix Suns and forward Markieff Morris want to part ways.
Here we are two years later, and things couldn’t be further from those expectations. They no longer have a promising future based on high draft picks and talented young players, while their veterans aren’t good enough to pull this team through the hard West. Considering who is on the team and the ever changing faces in the front office, firing Hornacek isn’t going to make a difference.
Coaching is only the beginning of the problems facing the Suns.
The Suns are now 12th in the Western Conference standings with a 12-20 record, and it seems like they will be missing the playoffs for another season. Bjorkgren joined the Suns staff last summer after coaching their D-League affiliate Bakersfield Jam into the playoffs the season before.
Morris is definitely available and Michael Scotto of SheridanHoops has indicated that the Houston Rockets are very interested.
“Whenever one of your best players goes out, it’s time for other guys to step up”, Hornacek said. “Whatever happens after that, you can’t get concerned about that”. “We basically tried to get a feel if he was good for that and said he wanted to get back and help his teammates and help us win”.
Update: It appears that Hornacek will have the opportunity to attempt to turn things around as Phoenix has made a decision to fire assistants Mike Longabardi and Jerry Sichting according to Yahoo!

Along with that, Knight is also averaging four rebounds, 5.2 assists, and 1.5 steals this season.
