Super Bowl 50 not so nifty, save for Peyton’s nice exit

While tens of thousands of Denver Broncos fans on Tuesday celebrated their beloved team’s Super Bowl win, merchandize vendors basked in Super Bowl caliber sales. Then, after a little more than two minutes of questioning, he got up and walked away. But Newton backed off as outside linebacker DeMarcus Ware and Panthers center Ryan Kalil dived for it. The Broncos recovered the loose ball, leading to a C.J. Anderson touchdown run that put the game out of reach. I didn’t dive down.

“We won a lot of big football games during the course of that season”. If you want me to be this type of person I’m not that and I’m happy to say that. He was also sacked six times and turned the ball over three times.

Further adding to Denver’s case is just how dependent the team was on that defense given the performance and injury struggles 39-year-old quarterback Peyton Manning experienced all season. But they might have at least had a chance. People pick and do things of that sort, but the truth of the matter is, who are you to say that your way is right?

“I really don’t, certainly feel fortunate to be playing into February”.

Said Rivera: “Losing is not an easy thing”. I’m going to drink a lot of Budweiser tonight.

“We went through the gauntlet”, Broncos cornerback Harris said Sunday night.

“But I know who I am and I’m not about to conform nor bend for anybody’s expectations because your or anybody else’s expectations will never exceed mine”, Newton said.

Trent Dilfer, a former National Football League quarterback, said it’s a fair question.

“I would like for Peyton to retire, I would”, she said.

It’s become one of the most talked about moments of a pretty unremarkable Super Bowl.

Coach Rivera supports Cam’s post game actions.

Newton said Tuesday if he offended anyone, “that’s cool” and that he wouldn’t back down from showing his emotions.

Here’s what Elway said, without ever showing his hand: “You know, I think that it’s important for him – the key thing is for him to want to come back….”

Flashback to a year ago, when Russell Wilson and the Seahawks faced quite likely the toughest loss in Super Bowl history, with Wilson throwing an interception at the 2 yard line. “Do we not dive on it?”

“Tried to do a joke and it didn’t work”, Conan said.

“I’m on record as being a sore loser”. We trust his judgment. “No, not at all”. But the Super Bowl is just a single game, while the other championships are best-of-seven series.

“Look at all the other quarterbacks”.
