“Super Mario Run” for iPhone is the first ever Mario mobile game, and it will come exclusively to iOS, Forbes reported. Based on gameplay footage, Super Mario Run is side-scrolling “runner”-style platformer optimized for one-handed play on touchscreen”.
Super Mario Run is a new endless runner that you can play with one hand, using graphics from New Super Mario Bros. An Android version of the game is planned to release at a later point, Nintendo told Kotaku. “‘They’ll be doing it in a brand new game, Super Mario Run”.
“We have created Super Mario Run to be flawless for playing on your iPhone”, Miyamoto said during the event. Throughout the presentation, Nintendo showcased some of the game, which will let you collect coins, compete against other players, and create your own Mushroom Kingdom. We’ve known for a while that Nintendo was flirting with mobile, but a new Mario game is something else altogether.
Tim Cook announced how everybody’s beloved character Mario is finally making his way to the App Store. Mario is constantly running to the right to the right. The game will also have a “Toad Rally” mode that will allow players to take on friends and strangers in a ghost challenge mode.

The game, marked as coming soon, will be available for a fixed price, bucking the trend for in-app purchase supported freemium games. There was no exact release date announced, either, but it will arrive on iOS in time for the 2016 holidays.
