Update: Nintendo told Polygon that Super Mario Run had a hand in the delay of Animal Crossing and Fire Emblem.

In Super Mario Run, your character is constantly moving to the right.

Gamers will be able to play the game with one-hand for first time, flawless for when needing a free hand to hang onto a subway pole or to keep playing while “eating hamburger”. Fortunately for Android users, Nintendo has cleared the air, stating that Super Mario Run will be coming to their device of choice.

In a surprising move, it seems that Japanese gaming giant Nintendo has finally turned back on its word that Nintendo IPs (intellectual properties, like game characters Mario, Zelda, etc.) will never appear on non-Nintendo platforms. It will release to iOS devices by the end of 2016.

The first mode features challenging courses for you to complete. John Hanke, CEO of Niantic, took the stage later to announce that Pokemon Go has been downloaded more than 500 million times, and that the app would soon be coming to the Apple Watch. The object of the game is to collect most coins while reaching the goalpost.

According to a listing on Apple store, the description said that the game features three modes. Mario will run automatically on his own, Miyamoto demonstrated. There will also be a Mario themed sticker pack for use in iMessage on iOS 10.
