Super-sized phones won’t work with Fallout 4 Pip-Boy replica
The Pip-Boy edition is a faithful recreation of the wearable device that your character uses throughout his journey in the Fallout universe. If you have an iPhone 5, 5S, or 6, you’ll have some simple foam to use. Even though we’re assuming most people won’t actually walk around with one strapped to their arm.

But only if you don’t opt for a larger handset. Besides, his is much more sleek than Bethesda’s, which essentially demands you ram your phone in to work. There’s also another insert which you can fiddle with to fit a lot of other popular phone types.
In the same blog post, Bethesda notes that Pip-Boy Editions in the United States of America and Canada are completely sold out. Too bad for those who own an iPhone 6 Plus or a Samsung Galaxy S6.
The larger handset will not be supported for the wristband, but you can still run the companion app when the console and PC game comes out later this year.
Meanwhile, a dedicated fan of the game has managed to turn a joke into a clever act that got him his own copy, or at least he’ll get it once the game has been released. Now the retailer has announced that it will begin taking pre-orders for a limited amount of the Pip-Boy version, priced at £99.99.

A huge Fallout fan has just showed the word the meaning of the word “fan” itself by creating an unofficial Pip-Boy replica, just as the one in the Fallout 4 collector’s edition.
