‘Super unique’ Cam Newton is NFL’s best quarterback, says Broncos’ Aqib Talib

Oddsmakers are now posting the Panthers as early 4-point favorites for the Super Bowl on February 7 in Santa Clara, California.

While the Panthers have had little difficulty finding the end zone this season, they have been outgained overall in two of their past three contests, but have held opposing rushers to less than 80 yards per game in their past four outings.

Newton presents a new challenge to a Broncos defense that was dominant all season and still raised its game to another level in the AFC championship win over New England. According to NFL.com, Newton completed almost 60 percent of his passes for 3,837 yards, 35 touchdowns, and just 10 interceptions during the 2015 regular season, while his 636 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns on the ground led all NFL quarterbacks and helped push Carolina’s rushing offense to No. 2 in the NFL.

My pick to win the Super Bowl is the Broncos.

Bronocs vs. Panthers: Who has the better built roster? Super Bowl 50 will be the Bronco’s 8th time, which ties a record, and will be the 2nd time for the Panthers. And that was before he and his Panthers put a 49-15 beat down on the Cardinals that included two passing touchdowns and two rushing touchdowns from Newton. It is needless to say that no one had actually anticipated the team to win with such a massive difference.

Carolina needed only five plays to convert the turnover into a touchdown run by quarterback Cam Newton. The Panthers piled up seven takeaways against the Cardinals – six on defense, one on special teams – including an interception returned for a score by linebacker Luke Kuechly. “We all battled and worked so hard”.

“The great thing about Arizona not wanting him was he came back to this place he was wanted and we know his skill set, and we truly believe in him here”, Panthers receiver Jerricho Cotchery said. What non-fans seem to consider disrespect, the Panthers consider excitement.

Rivera has said he loves his team’s personality – and doesn’t want players to change.

In the unlikely event that there was any doubt about Cam Newton’s skills, the team he will face in the Super Bowl were quick to dispel them on Monday.

We will see what happens in Superbowl 50. “He was the guy, and he still is the guy that everyone looks at, and it’s going to be a lot of fun to get a chance to play against him on that stage and we have to be ready to go, because they’re going to bring their A-game”.
