McCaskill has had some conflict with the Clintons in the past, but has emerged this year as one of Hillary Clinton’s top national surrogates.

The margins have varied widely, but they all show Sanders closing the gap nationally with Clinton since December, when it appeared she was retaking a firm command of the Democratic field.

The town hall comes just before the Party’s Nevada caucus, which is set for Saturday.

Sanders also defended his self-described Democratic Socialism.

Hillary Clinton is trying to win the hearts and votes of the Latino community in Nevada using a touching ad in which a girl is crying over the possibility of her family being deported.

The former first lady also went on the attack when asked about Sanders criticizing former President Bill Clinton for his record on Wall Street deregulation, the North American Free Trade Agreement and strict welfare rules. It was not unlike a meeting Sharpton held in New York Tuesday with Sanders’ rival, Hillary Clinton. “And even a small Clinton victory would satisfy Sanders donors, who will keep fueling the campaign”.

The Hill reported: “Team Clinton maintains confidence that its lead in SC will hold, but the potential loss in Nevada has put people on edge about a possible “domino effect” in which states could fall one by one to Sanders as the Vermont Independent gains momentum”.

“If you had not been Hispanic, you would not have had as many hoops”, Clinton said. These are the party bosses who can vote however they want at the Democratic nominating convention. Still, the former Secretary of State’s campaign is not giving up on Sanders’ home turf.
