Iris (Candice Patton) is challenged by an assignment from her new boss (Tone Bell), and is surprised when friction turns to flirtation.

Hanging with Barry at the night club, Iris marveled at the fact that the two of them are married both in the future and on Earth-2. “These powers are new to her, and she can be a little reckless with them”. Barry thus must quickly. uncover the mystery of who is the girl under the mask and as well as what is driving her mad desire for speed and destruction. This piece of information was key to the team figuring out Jay’s connection with Zoom later on in the episode.

Allison Paige as Trajectory in The Flash season 2. They complied, but not before Eliza injected Jesse with a near-lethal dose of V-9. Desperate to find a way to increase his speed, Barry decides to travel back in time and masquerade as his earlier self in order to get his arch-nemesis, Dr. Harrison Wells/Eobard Thawne (Tom Cavanagh), to teach him how to run faster. Is that what turned him into Zoom? She doesn’t know about Zoom.

During that trip, The Flash teed up the impending crossover by including a shot of Benoist’s Supergirl while Barry travelled through the breach between worlds, hinting at a larger DC Comics multiverse that offered endless possibilities on infinite Earths.

What the audience has known for a while, the STAR Labs gang now also knows: Jay Garrick is Zoom.
