Supergirl Recap ‘Red Faced’: Anger Management
Henshaw reminds her that the potential for a temper tantrum is why people fear her cousin. Cat knew when Kara called her out that she wasn’t actually upset with her assistant – she was taking out the anger pent up for her mother on someone else instead. Initially he wants no part in it but when they reveal the circumstances he agrees. And to make things even worse, Lucy tells them that meeting SUPERGIRL was a let-down and that she wasn’t impressed. Rather than fire her, Cat takes Kara out for martinis. General Lane believes that aliens are a threat to national security.

In the latest Supergirl recap, Kara gets really angry and then faces a killer government android hell bent on ending her…. Kara does what we’ve been waiting for her to do for six episodes and snaps back.
What were your thoughts on the debut of Red Tornado? Cat brings her to a bar for a night of drinks and drunken advice.
Day is saved, General Lane looks like an asshole and everybody wins.
“‘Red Faced’ – Personal and professional stress get the better of Kara when she goes too far during a training exercise against Red Tornado, a military cyborg commissioned by Lucy Lane’s father, General Sam Lane”.
The next day, Kara shows up ready for a fight.
Meanwhile across town, Supergirl and James take out their mutual frustration on a punching bag and a auto. They talk about what makes them mad before throwing some hay makers and Kara realizes the thing she’s most angry about is that she’ll never feel normal. Kara manages to defeat the Red Tornado, but she’s so overcome by her anger that she doesn’t stop attacking it when Alex gives her the signal.
– Before the episode ends, Lucy decides to stop working for her father and stand by her man. She believes that James is helping her, not hurting her and General Lane needs to respect their relationship. He tells Dr. Morrow, “The Red Tornado failed and so did you”. Winn just has a weakness for the Danver girls, I suppose. She shows him the Red Tornado’s arm to see if he can figure out how the robot works.

General Lane goes to pick up Lucy later, who informs him that she’s resigning from her position and will be staying in National City with Jimmy.
