Jessie Graff doesn’t just don the garb of superheroes on TV, she can convincingly play the part as well.

Jessie Graff, a stuntwoman on Supergirl, just made history on Monday’s American Ninja Warrior, becoming the first woman to complete Stage 1 of the finals, NY magazine reports. Eventually we’ll find out whether the show can crown its second-ever Ninja Warrior, but what matters most to me at the moment is that four of the obstacles are called Snake Run, Giant Log Grip, Broken Bridge and, best of all, Flying Squirrel. She wore a “Green Lantern”-inspired outfit, following up on memorable “Ninja Warrior” turns as “Wonder Woman”. This time, she didn’t let it stop her and seemingly scaled it with no problem. And on Monday night, she came one step closer to realizing that dream when she became the first woman to complete Stage 1 of the finals. She was always an incredible athlete, as told in a USA Today interview, but she found motivation in Ninja Warrior after a bad knee injury, and that driving goal has certainly allowed her to bounce back and then some. The professional stuntwoman, 32, has been kicking butt in the preliminaries, so everyone knew that she was going to do well in the strength and endurance competition’s extremely hard first course, but a win wasn’t necessarily expected.
