So when we found out Teen Wolf star Tyler Hoechlin would be playing the iconic superhero, we couldn’t wait to see how he filled out that form-fitting suit and cape!

Check out our first look at Tyler Hoechlin as Superman for Supergirl Season 2. (Perhaps in an arc similar to Supergirl’s season one team-up with The Flash?) Regardless of just how he fits into the show, based on how well the actor wears the blue and red in this photo (not to mention his steely gaze – he is the Man of Steel, after all), he certainly seems ideal for the part.
Story details about Superman’s guest appearances haven’t been revealed, but it is known that Hoechlin will also appear as Clark Kent, Superman’s secret identity and he will share at least a few scenes with Mehcad Brooks’ James Olsen. As close to a “classic” Superman as we’ll get in 2016 – closer than the “Man of Steel” and “Batman V Superman” costume.
