Superman Henry Cavill dons disguise and pranks Will Smith at Comic-Con

He’s used to playing a character in disguise so it was no surprise that Superman star Henry Cavill managed to stay unnoticed after going undercover at Comic-Con.

Smith was promoting Dan Ayer’s new film, Suicide Squad, where he plays Deadshot, and was signing autographs at the event. In a video he shared on Instagram, Cavill told viewers, “Here we go”. Cavill was at the Comic-Con for work too. Cavill, who surprisingly went completely undetected while on the main floor, secretly made his way up to Will Smith’s panel for a photo.

Warner Bros. brought the big guns to Comic-Con this weekend by having the directors of their upcoming DC Comics movies assemble on stage before bringing out the casts of Justice League, Suicide Squad, and Wonder Woman to address excited fans in Hall H.

So, he roamed around the huge convention, hiding his identity not with thick-framed glasses or a cape, but with a ‘Suicide Squad’ t-shirt and an Anonymous mask. Smith’s Suicide Squad, which also stars Jared Leto, Margot Robbie, Jai Courtney and Cara Delevingne premieres August 5.
