Supernatural: Padalecki and Ackles Aiming to hit 300 Episodes
Padalecki agreed and said that he hopes to hit 300 episodes at the very least, but if that happens, it might be time for both him and Ackles to say goodbye to the series.

As Ackles explains, “I feel like if I ever show up to set and I feel like I don’t care, or if I feel like [Padalecki] doesn’t care, then that’s the canary leaving the mine”. Ackles said it might be time to wrap “Supernatural” if he and Padalecki show up on set and they don’t care anymore but luckily, they still feel that “little bit of magic” that was present in the show since Season 1. While it’s always been speculated that the series might be renewed for a 13th and final season in 2017, the stars of the show apparently have a much bigger goal in mind before bringing the story of Sam and Dean Winchester to a close.
Aaron is the grandson of a member of secret group of rabbis called Judah Initiative, which aims to fight the Thule Society, who will be featured in the fifth episode of “Supernatural” season 12, the same installment Rose will reappear. I’d like to get to 300 before that day comes. “I think it would be bad for this show to just ride off in the sunset without a finale”. I think we’ve earned that. Supernatural came out victorious in Entertainment Weekly’s Fall TV cover battle, beating 63 other new and returning fall shows including The Big Bang Theory, Gilmore Girls and Arrow.
The actors have previously discussed how they wanted the show to end.
“Sam and Dean are going to fight Hitler, and that’s opening up some interesting doors for us in terms of just doing some more insane stuff”, Dabb explained. Apparently, Sam and Dean will be up against multiple baddies this year.
“At the beginning of the season, Lucifer’s still out there”. Right now, the supernatural series has finished airing 241 episodes.
Do you want to see Supernatural go on for another three-and-a-half seasons?

In the meantime, Season 12 of Supernatural will premiere on Thursday, October 13, but might 2018 or 2019 finally bring an end to the Winchesters’ hunt?
