‘Supernatural’ season 11 episode 2 preview: A baby nightmare

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, we see that Crowley didn’t die. They show up and put a bag over his head. Sam finds another man with the black veins attacking a locked door. Sam and Dean are recognizing that they are as much the problem as the solution.

As they talk he flashes back to his time with the Darkness.

She thanked him for setting him free and told him “I like it here”. Although the “King of Hell” attempts to use his power with a snap of his fingers, it does not work. There’s a few real emotional stakes here, too, and Sam and Dean’s disagreement over how best to handle the situation results in a conversation and disagreement which is in many ways long overdue. While she is a driving force in “Out of the Darkness, Into the Fire”, she was given very little character development.

“When did we forget how to do this?” he asked his brother. He then hands the baby over and walks off to try to lock himself away to save the child from himself. He YOLOs and then kills them, amidst hot flashes.

Dean begins prepping to fight against the men coming into the hospital.

Last season, Supernatural ended with the Impala containing everyone’s favorite hunters, Sam and Dean Winchester (Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles), engulfed in rolling darkness.

The darkness told Dean, “I like it here”. Dean seems bound and determined to fix the mess that he and Sam have created by freeing The Darkness, but they’ll have to question once again whether they are willing to pay the price to get it done. “Saving people means all of the people, not just that baby, not just each other”.

Cue- brothers bickering. Dean wants to save the baby and kill everything. He tells Dean that he has to let him do what he does.

Sam distracts the zombies and hides in a closet while Dean whisks the baby to safety.

However, in next week’s episode, the boys could face perhaps the craziest supernatural villain they’ve ever met: meet Amara, the baby of doom.

Crowley goes back to his body but his cheerful mood is dampened. The bad news? Their disease/curse/anomaly was transmittable if a person came into contact with their blood, which is what happened with Mike. Apparently, the word from Hell is that one of them is trying to warn them about the Darkness.

However, Jenna’s life will reportedly be in danger and she will be asking for Dean’s help.

What else do we know about her? Crowley said The Darkness was only a myth, a type of boogeyman scary story, but his demon henchman weren’t convinced. We’ve been here before so many times that it’s become a trope in Supernatural, and viewers are now left to count down the episodes until they inevitably find out about each other’s deception and probably end up falling out as a result.
