“It makes people aware of all of the small businesses in town and how much we do for the city. We have things you don’t find anywhere else”, she said.
“I’m impressed with the southwest culture”, said shopper Debra Wessel.
“Remember: the more dollars we give to locally-owned businesses, the more dollars we keep in Arizona”. “We would always encourage Islanders to buy from and support local businesses whenever possible, and events like this help to amplify that message”.
“Those are obviously more commercialized so people flock to those first and they advertise themselves”, local shopper Brittney Darby said.
In 2014, 88 million people got out to Shop Small on Small Business Saturday. There is no better way to shop than that.
Belle LaRose Boutique, a small business owned by Laronica Priddy, is offering up to 50 percent off all clothing, shoes and handbags, 30 percent off jewelry and 20 percent off already discounted red tag clearance items.
