Supporters, opponents clash at Trump’s rally in San Diego

Donald Trump’s latest day of California campaigning was again rocked by protests both inside and outside of his two Friday rallies, which spanned 350 miles from Fresno in Central California to San Diego, not far from the Mexican border, and led to 35 arrests. Police were seen using batons on one man who tried to climb a wall and reach police, and confrontations between Trump supporters and opponents ended in punches thrown.

But when the rally let out, police in riot gear moved in, corralling the growing, unruly crowd on L Street between 5th and 6th streets.

The case against the real estate mogul’s now-defunct company, which has been accused of scamming students who were misled into paying money for insight from business experts they thought were hand-picked by Trump, is scheduled to go to trial in San Diego federal court shortly after the presidential election.

The crowd of about 1,000 was told to disperse at 4:30 p.m. local time when the coastal city’s police said that the assembly was illegal because of fights and protesters throwing bottles.

“The protesters in New Mexico were thugs who were flying the Mexican flag”, Trump wrote on Twitter.

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump’s visits to California continue to spark commotion, with protesters declared “unlawful” clashing with police outside a San Diego rally.

Thirty-five people were arrested during the protests, according to police.

Mr Trump said that if he came to power he would “start opening up the water” and ensure farmers had enough for crops.

In selling the courses, Trump released a marketing video that said, “We are going to have professors and adjunct professors that are absolutely terrific… and these are all people who are going to be handpicked by me”.

“My dad always told me you need a businessman as president”, he told CNS.

Trump is famous now for having dissed Mexicans and promised to erect a wall along the entire border between the USA and Mexico. “I like his policies”.

Trump, for his part, has inflamed tensions; once saying he wanted to punch a protestor “in the face”, and at other times promising to pay the legal fees for his supporters if they assaulted protesters.

SAN DIEGO – Thousands of pro-and anti-Donald Trump demonstrators faced off on Friday outside a rally for the presumptive Republican presidential nominee in San Diego.

The crowd booed the judge when Trump said his name (it is suspiciously foreign sounding after all), and Trump continued “He is not doing the right thing”.

On Thursday, area Democrats slammed Trump in a conference call with reporters.

The suggested debate, an idea first raised during a talk show appearance by the NY billionaire, would have sidelined likely Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton but given Sanders a huge platform ahead of California Democratic primary.
