THE action-packed sixth season of Game of Thrones has topped this year’s Emmy Award nominations. Season 6 of the HBO series racked up 23 nominations total, including Outstanding Drama Series and six acting nominations. The 68th Primetime Emmy Awards will be broadcast live on ABC beginning at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
The Emmy Awards, voted for by the 20,000-plus members of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, are the top honors for US prime-time television.
