While there has yet to be any official news from Microsoft regarding the upcoming Surface Pro 5, many believe that the device will have improved performance and features.

Microsoft Surface Pro 5 and Microsoft Surface Book 2 are reportedly in the works but Microsoft has not confirmed or denied its development.
The memory capacity of Microsoft Surface Pro 5 is said to be upgradable up to 16GB of RAM, Tech Times reported. According to recent rumors, the Surface Pro 5 would pack Intel’s latest processors from the Kaby Lake family.
The membership program allows business users to get a Surface device on a payment plan with free future upgrades when new machines come out, and support which includes personal training in the use of the hardware, and accidental damage cover.
Microsoft may need to wait for Intel’s release before they launch the new Surface tablet. It will have more functionality as it will have a rechargable battery in order to allow for wireless charging. Coming in with Windows 10 Pro, a similar 12.3-inch PixelSense display, an Intel m3 processor for the base model up to Intel Core i7 for the highest model, an SSD storage of up to 1 terabyte, and Intel HD graphics, nothing much could be said about the device.
Morgan Sorne, the visual artist and musician, joined Microsoft’s Windows blog to speak about some of the projects that he’s been doing with his Surface. The battery life of the device could also be improved. Other sources, however, point out to a Spring 2017 release, allowing Microsoft to further flawless the device ahead of its release.
With the tablet and laptop-tablet hybrid market dominated by Apple and Android devices, Microsoft is slowly making waves through its Surface Pro lineup.
