Microsoft is rumored to launch its newly developed power-user 2-in-1 laptop, Microsoft Surface Book 2 in an event likely to be held in October and the device is expected to be released into the tech market in 2017.

The Surface Pro 5 is also rumored to be getting a whopping 16 GB of RAM and an AIO graphics processor.

As of the moment, reports have pegged that the device will be launched next month and then made publicly available sometime in 2017. Also, reports shows that the Windows 10 update is also delayed on a wait of new hardware launch. Majority are pointing at an October release during the Windows 10 Devices event. It must be remembered that the Surface Pro 4 released back in October previous year came with a number of unsightly issues including a less-than-favorable battery life. And for the first time in a very long time, the maker of the Windows operating system will try to grab the spotlight away from the iPad with its upcoming Surface Pro 5.

Since the Surface Pro 5 isn’t expected to come out for a while, it should probably come as no surprise that its possible specs and features remain largely unknown at this point.

According to the latest rumors, the upcoming new Microsoft Surface Pro 5 will likely be coming with the latest Intel Kaby Lake CPU. The ad itself highlighted how the Surface Pro was a more capable device in terms of performance since it can also run programs like the full version of MS Office and not just its app counterpart.

As far as this new model is concerned, it’s believed that Microsoft wants to equip it with the most advanced hardware to date, including the latest CPUs, plus new tech that would provide it a substantial advantage in the fight against iPhones and Android flagships.
