According to the report, the businessman was admitted to the hospital on the complaint of having difficulty in toilet.
When doctors initially asked what he ate, he said that he had swallowed a bottle cap after arguing with his wife.
But after operation, the doctors left stunned as they found 12 gold bars inside his stomach.
Soon police were called and handed over the whole case.
Later the surgeon, CS Ramachandran, talked in media and said “This was the first time I have recovered gold from the stomach of a patient. It was a tedious three-hour-long operation”.
