“Drag Me Down” is lifted from the band’s forthcoming fifth album, which is due for release this November. Yes and yes. Still frames from the “Drag Me Down” music video leaked on August 20 and we are SO PUMPED! “Hope you love it!”
Since the single dropped without fanfare on July 31, “Drag Me Down” has hit No. 1 on iTunes in 90 countries, according to Sony Music, and has more than 40 million streams to date on Spotify. “Thank you for all your awesome support on this single”. Shot in different areas of NASA, including where astronauts train for spaceflight, we see Harry, Louis, Niall, and Liam preparing for a mission in orange space outfits before eventually getting on a shuttle that takes off and orbits the Earth.
But without further ado, here is the highly anticipated video… What do you think of the pics and clip?
Meanwhile, One Direction fans are set to break records in terms of number of views of the video in the first few hours of its release, and we have no doubt they will do exactly that…
