Around 170 people were arrested following the May 17 shootout that left 9 people dead and 18 injured. According to a release from Waco PD, there were 16 uniformed officers assigned to Twin Peaks that day, none of which were in a “sniper capacity”.
Investigators have not yet offered details about who shot who or whether police officers fatally shot anyone, though reports reviewed by the AP indicate police bullets did hit at least one biker. A few people may find video on this page disturbing.
Hundreds of weapons were all over the place, even handguns even left hidden in the restaurant toilets.
According to KWTX-TV, the Waco Police Department said that it did not release the video to CNN, citing a gag order in the case barring dissemination of video and public documents.
“I think you can see from the number of weapons that we have recovered from here today, they didn’t come here to eat and have a good time with their family”, said Patrick Swanton of the Waco Police Department.
There is speculation among both prosecutors and defense lawyers that one of the attorneys who was either appointed or hired to defend one or more of the bikers arrested on that day released the evidence after it was obtained through the discovery process. A few say these videos prove the vast majority are innocent of the criminal charges.
“They just did a roundup and arrested everybody before they determined out who was involved”, said Susan Anderson, a defense attorney.
These are just a few of the videos investigators are using to piece together what happened that day five months ago.

One witness said the shootout looked like the gunfight at the OK Corral. While those arrested were charged with engaging in organized criminal activity, prosecutors in McLennan County have not filed charges in connection to the nine deaths.
