Survey shows Clinton trailing Republican candidates in Colorado
A new poll of several swing states contains bad news for Hillary Clinton, showing her lead over top GOP contenders shrinking or disappearing entirely.

“Hillary Clinton’s numbers have dropped among voters in the key swing states of Colorado, Iowa, and Virginia”, said Peter A. Brown, assistant director of Quinnipiac polling.
Oddly enough, however, Kasich’s small net pluses in favorability rank him among the top six Republican candidates in all three states.
In hypothetical one-on-one matchups, Virginians favored Walker over Clinton, 43 percent to 40 percent; Bush over Clinton, 42 percent to 39 percent; and Rubio over Clinton, 43 percent to 41 percent.
The Quinnipiac poll of registered Iowa voters was conducted July 9-20 with live interviewers calling landlines and cellphones, and has a margin of error of plus or minus 2.8 percentage points.
The poll comes more than a year before Election Night, but Clinton’s less favored in Colorado, Iowa and Virginia.
While just over 50 percent of voters in each state said Clinton has strong leadership qualities, the Democratic frontrunner took the hardest hits on whether voters thought she is honest or trustworthy. Even more remarkable, “U.S. Sen”.
Republican contenders Marco Rubio, Jeb Bush and Scott Walker are beating Clinton and Bernie Sanders at the numbers game.
Nati Harnik/AP Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush also leads Clinton in the same three states, the poll found. In Iowa, she trails Rubio 36 percent to 44 percent, Bush 36 percent to 42 percent and Walker 37 percent to 45 percent.
Make no mistake: These figures are – and should be – disconcerting for Team Hillary.
The title of worst favorability rating among the entire presidential field, Democrat and Republican, goes to Donald Trump. Note that a similar effect is not apparent in Colorado, where the 2012 exit poll said 14 percent of the voters were Hispanics and that they voted 75 percent for Barack Obama.
Todd shared his analysis: “If it wasn’t for Donald Trump, the biggest story of the summer would be Hillary Clinton’s problems solidifying herself inside the party”.

The only other candidate that has lower favorables is Trump: 31 – 58 percent in Colorado, 32 – 57 percent in Iowa and 32 – 61 percent in Virginia. Marco Rubio and Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, the latest Quinnipiac University Poll shows. “…It’s an indication that perhaps Mr. Trump will have trouble growing his coalition because so many people says that they see him unfavorably”.
