Susan Sarandon protests treatment of Sanders supporters

Actress and longtime Bernie Sanders supporter Susan Sarandon didn’t look like she was enjoying herself at the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia on Monday.

Journalist Ian McKenna tweeted that Sarandon was “having literally the worst time” at the convention. Sarandon replied by saying, “accurate”.

The longtime Sanders supporter wasn’t alone in her refusal to climb aboard the Clinton train. We wonder if this means she’s really going to vote for Trump over Clinton?

Sarandon had previously called Clinton “more dangerous” than Trump, however, by reason that most of his promises are too ridiculous to come to fruition. The critical question is, does it matter?

“Gasland” director Josh Fox, part of the NY delegation, spoke in the sprawling press scrum along with other well-known Sanders supporters including actors Susan Sarandon, Danny Glover and Rosario Dawson. I think we really have to ask what’s happened to us, in terms of what we’re willing to sacrifice to get our person in.

“A lot of people felt disenfranchised”.

Silverman ended her speech by yelling, “Bababooey!” Nina Turner and led by a pair of celebrities held a news conference in the central media tent at the Democratic National Convention – the second demonstration in that space in as many days.

McKenna told BuzzFeed he grabbed the GIF from CNN’s live stream, which he was watching while editing video for his team at Now This.

Sarandon said convention organizers are making it hard to carry out “the will of Bernie Sanders’ people”. She says she wants to be “convinced” by Clinton.
