Suspect has been arrested in Drake tour bus heist

In charging documents, King’s home is stated as a downtown Phoenix shelter.

Late Wednesday, it was revealed the thief who stole around million in jewelry from Drake’s tour bus has been caught! The 21-year-old had done contract work at the venue in the past.

The rappers were performing the Phoenix stop of the “Summer Sixteen” tour at the time. The AP reported that Arizona State University campus police picked him up early Wednesday morning for trespassing.

TMZ reports that King has worked at the Talking Stick Arena for concerts in the past, but wasn’t working last night.

Police also confirmed that the suitcase filled with jewelry wasn’t Drake’s – it belonged to his DJ, Future the Prince.

A representative for the Phoenix Police Department was not immediately available for comment.

According to police, the suspect removed a briefcase containing the jewellery within a 15-minute window. It was later on clarified that Future the Prince was the actual victim in the theft.

Someone ripped off Future the Prince, Drake’s tour DJ, and Drizzy isn’t happy about it.
