In St. Paul, Minnesota, crowds gathered near the spot where an officer killed Philando Castile in a auto on Wednesday.
Two of the officers killed were members of the Dallas Police Department, one is a member of the Dallas Area Rapid Transit police force.
Thompson was the first DART officer killed in the line of duty in the agency’s history. A DART spokesman said “they are expected to recover from their injuries”.
