An unknown child’s body parts were discovered in the lagoon September 5th.

“Now we have two people who were the last two people that knew where Kyrian was, and they’re just not cooperating”, said Dean Andrews, Chief of Detectives. The body parts were identified as the boy on November 4.

A child’s dismembered foot was found September 5 in the Garfield Park lagoon, and another foot, two hands and a head were found that night and September 6. The two told police that they handed Kyrian over to a man and two women who said they were friends of the child’s mother, reports the paper.

Kyrian was reported missing to Rockford police September 17.

The two-year-old was staying with family friends when he disappeared.

Authorities say numerous attempts to contact Harris and Foggs have failed.

Harris gave a statement to Rockford Police saying he gave Kyrian Knox over to three people in Rockford after they convinced him they knew Kyrian’s mother, Lanisha Knox.

But now Chicago police want talk at length to Harris and Foggs.

While it is believed Harris may be in Milwaukee, Foggs is believed to be in Chicago. Police say they know the whereabouts of Harris and Foggs, but they will not talk to detectives. They’re just not cooperating.

Police say they held the news conference to urge people with knowledge of what happened to come forward and cooperate so they can uncover how Knox died and how his body ended up in the lagoon.

He said taking the next step in this investigation is going to be “very difficult” without their cooperation.
