Suspect in Fayetteville shooting admits to killing on Facebook

Cops in Cumberland County, N.C., are hunting for Anthony MacNeill, who is wanted for killing his child’s grandfather on Saturday..

Cumberland County sheriff’s deputies are looking for a man whom they believe shot and killed the grandfather of his child. When deputies arrived, they learned 32-year-old Anthony Curtis Macneill allegedly shot and killed Eugene Racine.

Writing on Facebook on Sunday, MacNeill appeared to admit to the shooting and vowed to not be taken in alive.

“Kinda always knew I wouldn’t live to be 35”, MacNeill added. The caller informed responders that someone had just been shot.

Macneill, whose address is listed as the 6800 block of Green Creek Drive in Fayetteville, is considered armed and risky, authorities say. According to a WTVD-TV crew on the scene, military police were aiding in the investigation.
