Around 1:00am Saturday morning, police were called to the Citronelle home to report Dearman trespassing on their property, however, he left before officers arrived to the location.

Residents of the house called 911 to report a trespasser between midnight and 1am on Saturday, and Dearman appears to have been identified as the trespasser.

Dearman then forced Lester and the baby into a vehicle and drove them to his father’s home in MS – where he suddenly surrendered them, police said. He then forced Lester and the baby into his auto and drove to Mississippi.

She said “multiple weapons” were used.

Burch said one of the victims was “about five months pregnant”.

“What we’ve learned thus far is that there was evidently a history of abuse”, Burch said. Lester escaped with the 3-month-old child of one victim, police said.

The Mobile County Sheriff’s Office has identified the two women and three men killed Saturday at a home in Citronelle, Alabama.

The captain said he understood that Citronelle police responded to the call, but found no one. Investigators say Dearman released Lester and the baby as Dearman, accompanied by his father, went to the Green County Sheriff’s office to turn himself in.

Authorities said Dearman had already confessed and was awaiting extradition to Alabama.

Sheriff’s officials say Mr Dearman, will be charged with six counts of capital murder – one count for each adult and a sixth count because Reed was pregnant.
