Suspected Manchester bomber’s family members arrested in England, Libya
An unidentified 23-year-old man was arrested in south Manchester in connection with the attack, and armed police officers also raided two addresses near the Chorlton area of Manchester around lunchtime, The Guardian reported. Among the victims identified was an 8-year-old girl, an 18-year-old college student, a Polish couple who were picking up their daughter from the concert and others.

The government in London had no comment on the BBC report yesterday, but Manchester’s Chief Constable Ian Hopkins said the leaks to United States media had been hurtful to the families of the victims. “There’s extensive investigations going on and activity taking place across Greater Manchester as we speak”.
Minutes before he spoke, the police were raiding a house in the city center.
His father Ramadan and younger brother Hashem were detained in Libya, authorities there said.
The U.S. government has come under criticism from foreign counterparts in recent weeks after President Donald Trump reportedly divulged to Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov top secret information on the Islamic State group that was sourced from a U.S. partner, apparently Israel.
Abedi, also known as Salman Ramadan Abedi, is believed to have travelled to Manchester from London by train before the attack, Reuters reported.
Police yesterday said they have “got hold of a large part” of the network linked to the attack.
The militia’s claims about the younger brother could not be immediately verified.
Still, their stories began to emerge: Michelle Kiss, a mother of three whose “family was her life;” Nell Jones, an “always smiling” teenager; Martyn Hett, who packed life “to the brim with his passions;” Jane Tweddle, a “bubbly, kind, welcoming” receptionist. Numerous victims were young children.
He says police want the approach to be “unpredictable” and to make London “as hostile an environment as possible to terrorists”.
Twenty-two people were killed and dozens more seriously injured when Salman Abedi, 22, detonated a device as fans left Manchester Arena where Ariana was performing two days ago.
Making a joint statement, the band, which includes Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Eric Singer and Tommy Thayer, announced: ‘We are heartbroken by the atrocity committed against the innocent victims of Manchester.
It also emerged yesterday that troops will not be back on the streets of Northern Ireland – despite the Prime Minister’s announcement that the military will be deployed in the wake of the attack.
The Manchester bombing has raised concern across Europe.
Both Republicans and Democrats in the US Congress said the relationship with Britain was too valuable to undermine with leaks.
Among them was the Abedi family, who moved in 1993 to Britain. “And as I’ve said, it continues at a pace”. “His ideas and his ideology were not like that”.
Focus magazine, citing unnamed federal security sources, had earlier reported that British-born Abedi twice flew from a German airport in recent years and that he wasn’t on any worldwide watch list.
Mahmoud said the imam regularly preached against radicalization.
The elder Abedi was allegedly a member of the al-Qaida-backed Libyan Islamic Fighting group in the 1990s, according to a former Libyan security official, Abdel-Basit Haroun.

The pictures appeared a day after the bomber’s name was briefed to the USA media against the wishes of Greater Manchester Police, and just hours after Home Secretary Amber Rudd issued a plea to U.S. authorities not to leak material about the atrocity.
