Suspicious vehicle approaches Nawaz Sharif’s convoy

The prime minister is reported to be safe. The security immediately sprang into action and took the auto and its driver into custody.

Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s security was today breached when an unknown vehicle approached the convoy in which the Pakistani PM was travelling.

It is pertinent to mention that PM was accompanied by his wife Kalsom Nawaz, daughter Mariam Nawaz, son-in-law Captain (retd) Safdar, nephew and other family members in his vehicle.

As per details, convoy of PM and his family was returning from Murree when a white Prado suddenly entered into the convoy. It also said that the vehicle was found to have a fake number plate.

It had also been reported that the arrested person had initially claimed to be a retired officer of Pakistan Air Force (PAF) but changed his statement afterwards. He said that the investigations of the incident are still underway and the complete details will soon be brought forward.

Sources said that the officials deployed for PM’s security and protocol personnel are being grilled following the incident.
