Swansea City 2-2 Chelsea: Costa brace secures point in controversial game
Chelsea defender Gary Cahill says Swansea’s second goal in their 2-2 draw should have been ruled out because there was a foul on him so obvious “you could be sat on the moon and see it”.

John Terry will have a scan on Tuesday as Chelsea wait to discover the extent of his ankle injury.
Chelsea boss Antonio Conte praised Diego Costa’s “patience” after accusing Swansea players of trying to kick him throughout their draw in Wales.
“For the second goal I think everyone can see that the tackle was a foul on Cahill”, said Conte of referee Andre Marriner’s decision.
The ESPN FC panel react to Chelsea’s draw with Swansea City, and Diego Costa’s performance in particular.
But Terry looks likely to at least miss Friday’s game against Liverpool at Stamford Bridge. The referee must see and allow Diego Costa to play his football. “They know Diego is a player with real passion”.
“He’s refereed me personally a lot of times and I’ve got a lot of respect for him, but there’s no two ways”, said Cahill.
“Every game the press ask me about the patience of Costa, his behaviour”, Conte said.
He added, “After Chelsea’s first goal I saw my team not playing well and chose to change something before the end of the first half”.
“It s a pity because when you have the possibility to kill the game, you must kill the game”.
Gylfi Sigurdsson won a penalty in the 59th minute after being brought down by Thibaut Courtois inside the box, before then getting back up on his feet to slot the ball past the Belgian from the spot.
Chelsea appeared to be in cruise control after Diego Costa rewarded their superiority at the Liberty Stadium by firing them into a first-half lead. “We created a lot of chances and we were dominating the game when we were leading”, he said in his post-match media conference. “I am sorry for Neil Taylor [getting substituted] but I decided this way because we needed a reaction”. I think he understood, but I made a mistake.
“It’s the first time in my career I have done this”.

Willian was proving a real handful for Swansea, bursting past Neil Taylor but Fabianski showed excellent handling skills to claim the Brazilian’s cross with Costa waiting to pounce.
