Sweaty fashion crowd lured outside for Kanye West show
Kanye West is to hold his Yeezy Season 4 fashion show on September 7.

The CFDA and the Diversity Coalition most recently released new guidelines for designers to increase diversity on the runway, but perhaps West missed the memo.
And, erm, the area that Ye chose to have his show just happened to be a GIANT FUCKING TRIANGLE. Kim, along with her sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner and Kylie’s boyfriend Tyga were also in attendance at the NY event. The casting call is to support his upcoming Yeezy Season 4 line.
Prior to the event, Kanye had drawn press for his “multiracial women only” casting call; presumably some of the uniformly-stunning and diverse models were cast through that audition, while well-established faces including Teyana Taylor and model Chanel Iman walked as well.
But as far as diversity goes with the show, we’ll all most likely just have to wait and see until Yeezy season is upon us to find out what West truly has up his sleeves.
And conditions weren’t too much better for the guests.
While the fashion show is expected to be streamed on Tidal, Kanye recently spoke to Vogue about what fans can expect from the collection.
According to a report that assessed the diversity of Fall 2016 shows, West’s runway featured 100 percent models of color, handily beating the rest of his fashion peers.
Another model broke a heel and had to be helped down the runway by a bystander. Not a cute look.
An on-site shop sold long-sleeved “Season 4” tee shirts for $75.
The women wore a mix of cream, nude, and brown bodysuits, dresses, crop tops, and shorts, with many modelling clear PVC pumps and thigh-high boots identical to the ones worn by Kim in the Big Apple earlier this week. The music was eerie chanting and slow, continuous electronic beats – a sound that, somehow, made one feel hotter standing in the blaring sun.
Cancel all your plans for tonight and grab your laptop because Kanye West will be live-streaming his Yeezy Season 4 presentation.

Yeezy Merch Never one to miss a business opportunity, Kanye launched a temporary The Life Of Pablo pop-up shop onsite at the show.
