SWFL weather: Showers hit or miss Thursday

Low temperatures will be in the upper 60s. Highs will only warm into the upper 70s to mid 80s area-wide. Our series of cold fronts will actually help keep the tropical storm away from our region. A few storms may develop around Wichita late in the afternoon.

Weather could be unsettled for the weekend.

Another weather system is approaching from the Pacific Northwest and that looks like it’ll get here in south central Montana sometime on Saturday night or Sunday morning.

Storms develop into the overnight with some of them having the chance to be severe.

A lingering shower is possible SE of I-70 Sunday AM, but we’re clear out for the afternoon. Wind: S 5-15. High: 82.

Tomorrow night: Evening storms, then mostly cloudy. Southwest winds 5 to 15 miles per hour. Highs will be near normal with low to mid 80s during the afternoon. Next week, temperatures will continue to climb into the mid and upper 70s, and expect more chances of showers and thunderstorms.
