For his comeback on the front of the stage with a new album and a single that lulled us all summer, Alicia Keys has chose to show its true face, devoid of artifice. “Not YOUR face.but they didn’t put makeup on THEIR face”. “That’s kinda her thing that she wanna do”.

In the post, Keys explained that after she showed up makeup free to a photoshoot for her latest single “In Common”, her photographer immediately starting snapping photos with claims that Keys looked “raw and real”. “I don’t want to cover up anymore”.
Since then, Keys has stuck to her decision by showing up makeup free while appearing on television as a judge on The Voice as well as when she performed at the Democratic National Convention.
A return to nature for the attractive New Yorker married to Swizz Beatz who prefer also how and who gave him two lovely children, Egypt, 5 and a half years, and Genesis, 1 and a half.
She showed off her cosmetics-free appearance at the NY prizegiving on Sunday, as she walked the white carpet in a red vintage Just Cavalli maxi dress, but her natural look split fashion commentators and bloggers alike, with some applauding Keys, while others insisted she should have made more of an effort for the big awards show.
