Syfy greenlights ‘Incorporated’ series from producers Ben Affleck and Matt Damon

Syfy has greenlit Matt Damon’s and Ben Affleck’s “Incorporated” to series, which hails from the duo’s Pearl Street Productions, in association with CBS Television Studios and Universal Cable Productions, TheWrap reports. The first season has a 13-episode order, and will premiere this fall.

Incorporated follows the story of Ben Larson (played by Sean Teale) as he tries to penetrate an extremely risky near future world where corporations have infinite power.

For Syfy, Incorporated joins a roster of originals that includes The Expanse, The Magicians, 12 Monkeys and upcoming drama Hunters.

Mad Men star Julia Ormond will make her return to TV on the show while Teen Wolf’s Eddie Ramos and Dennis Haysbert from 24 will also be starring.

If Bernie Sanders gets elected president, then maybe we won’t see the plot of Syfy’s newest series come to fruition. Ben does this to save the woman he loves and he’ll soon discover that he is not the only person whose secrets may have dire consequences.

The futuristic thriller was created by David and Alex Pastor (Selfless, The Last Days).

Ted Humphrey (The Good Wife) will be joining Damon, Affleck, and Todd as an executive producer for Incorporated. Co-producing the show is Margaret Chernin of Pearl Street Films. The NBCUniversal-owned cabler has spent the bulk of the past year doubling down on high-profile dramas in a bid to bring more traditional science-fiction fare back to the network.
