Syfy Just Renewed Killjoys And One More
For one, Syfy isn’t actually producing these shows, as they’re both Canadian imports.

Syfy is keeping two of its Canadian imports around. Killjoys is the bigger success of the two, averaging over 1 million viewers, with half coming from the coveted adults 18-49 demographic when DVR is factored in.
Are you happy to hear that Syfy has renewed Killjoys and Dark Matter for a third season? “Dark Matter” will air a double episode Friday, with its Season 2 finale set for September 16.
Killjoys, from Canadian producer Temple Street, Universal Cable Productions and creator Michelle Lovretta (Lost Girl), has had a solid run on Fridays.
From Prodigy Pictures and Joseph Mallozzi and Paul Mullie (both of “Stargate”), DARK MATTER centers on a crew who awaken on a derelict spaceship with no memories of who they are or how they got there.
Killjoys stars Hannah John-Kamen, Aaron Ashmore and Luke Macfarlane as three interplanetary bounty hunters tracking down risky fugitives all while a massive war rages on in the cosmos around them, and things have been extremely tense in recent weeks, what with everything involving The Wall and Old Town and Rob Stewart’s Khlyen.
Melissa O’Neil, Anthony Lemke, Alex Mallari Jr. and Jodelle Ferland star with Roger Cross and Zoie Palmer.

Both shows have managed to really hit their strides this season, with Killjoys balancing its femme fatale, bounty hunter action with some fresh political intrigue. Keep the conversation going in the comments section below!
