Sylvester Stallone Wins Golden Globe For Supporting Actor For ‘Creed’
While discussing his latest film, “Creed”, in which Stallone reprised his role as Rocky Balboa and shared writing credits, conversation naturally turned to politics and Trump in this white-hot presidential political season. “I am the sum total of everyone I’ve ever met”, Stallone, teary-eyed, said.

Sylvester Stallone smiles while surrounded by his family on the red carpet at the 2016 Golden Globe Awards held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday (January 10) in Beverly Hills, Calif. He thanked the producers of the film, who “mortgaged their house”, to see that it was made.
Directed by Ryan Coogler (“Fruitvale Station”), “Creed” stars Michael B. Jordan as the son of Apollo Creed, the character from the first “Rocky” film who would transform from Rocky’s most notorious foe to one of his closest friends. Here’s hoping that should Stallone win on Oscar night, he makes up for that mistake.

And then, Stallone ended his speech by thanking his “imaginary friend” “best friend he ever had”: Rocky Balboa. However, reports from the scene on Twitter indicate that Stallone retook the stage after the walk-off music had begun playing to cite Coogler, humbly claiming, “You did it all, I just hung on for dear life”.
