Synopsis for season 3 of The Flash

After last season’s cliffhanger of a finale, we’re all eagerly anticipating The Flash Season 3.

Until recently, 26 year-old Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) lived a normal life as a perpetually tardy C.S.I.in the Central City Police department.

That fits with everything we’ve heard so far, with those new heroes including Wild Dog and Evelyn Sharp, and the villain set to be Prometheus (although a different version to the one in the comics), and the idea of going back-to-basics and things from Season 1 coming back around. At this time, Kid Flash is a significant character since he is actually the young Barry Allen who lives in the era of ‘Flashpoint’. With this team, Barry was finally able to defeat the Man in Yellow, aka The Reverse Flash, but in their epic battle, a Singularity was ripped in space and time that threatened to destroy them all. The very well-received guest spot allowed Warner Bros. the see how well the show could do in the context of the CW superheroes, and made a decision to renew the series for a second season on their network.

There is little doubt that going back in time to save Nora Allen was a BAD idea.

Meanwhile in other plot points, “The Flash” Season 3 will also shed light on the relationship between Danielle Panabaker’s Caitlin Snow and her mother, TVLine reported. Keiynan Lonsdale has confirmed that Kid Flash will be a major part of the “Flashpoint” storyline. There are the big changes, obviously. Green Arrow’s public defeat of Damien Darhk at the end of Season Four has inspired a new crop of masked heroes to step up and defend the city, though their painful inexperience makes them obstacles, rather than allies, in the field.

At the recent Comic-Con 2016 trailer release for the show, “The Flash” showed a few glimpses of what the audience can expect for season 3. Interestingly Barry Allen is found smooching his lady love Iris West in these leaked images.
