Fars News is reporting Thursday that the Syrian army made huge advances in the Southwestern countryside of Aleppo, and prevailed over the Al-Hadher region a stronghold of the Islamist al-Nusra Front.

Putin, speaking ahead of a meeting of the G20 in Turkey, also said Russian Federation had all the necessary financial and technical means to continue its air campaign in Syria for as long as the Syrian army needed Russia’s support.

The Syrian Army launched an offensive toward Al-Hader on October 17.
