Syrian government says US-led coalition hit army camp
The Syrian government said on Monday four warplanes from the U.S.-led coalition bombed a Syrian army camp in Deir al Zor province, which would be the first known attack by the coalition against government forces.

The monitoring group said the air raid also wounded 13 Syrian military personnel.
Speaking to the Reuters news agency, a source close to the Syrian government confirmed the strike took place and said there had been casualties.
“Regime forces have never previously been hit by raids from the worldwide coalition, which was targeting jihadist bases and oil tankers in Deir Ezzor”, Observatory director Rami Abdel Rahman said.
A suspected US-led four Syrian military personnel have been killed by coalition air strike, in accordance with a tracking group.
Foreign ministry says Syria strongly condemns this flagrant aggression by US-led coalition forces.
IS controls large stretches of territory in the two countries, which it describes as an Islamic “caliphate”. Its operations have expanded further in recent days, partly in response to the deadly attacks in Paris claimed by IS.
Damascus has repeatedly slammed the US-led coalition as ineffective and illegal, saying it can not uproot ISIS without coordinating with the Syrian government.
Russian Federation also began launching air strikes in Syria in late September.

On Sunday, the Observatory said the group had executed a media activist in the city of Deir Ezzor by tying him to two vehicles which were then driven in opposite directions.
