Citizen Protection Minister Nikos Toskas, in charge of police forces, has released the following statement: “On the case of the Syrian passport found at the scene of the terrorist attack, we announce that the passport holder had passed from Leros on October 3 where he was identified based on European Union rules”.

Very little is known so far about the eight attackers who unleashed terror in Paris on Friday night, in large part because most of their bodies were “pulverized”, according to France’s BFMTV.
A Syrian passport was discovered on the body of one of the suicide bombers who staged the attack outside the Stade de France during the France v Germany soccer game. Police conducted raids in the suburb of Molenbeek, where the attackers reportedly lived, and made a number of arrests linked to the Paris attacks.
Syrian passports are considered valuable currency among those trying to enter Europe.
The report has yet to be officially confirmed by French police.
Koutsomitis also drew attention to a quote by Greece migration Minister Yiannis Mouzalas, who on September 9th said, It would be foolish to believe that there are no jihadists among the refugees that cross into Europe. In fact, Russian intelligence has stated over 5,000 jihadists have entered Western Europe. Two were killed after detonating a belt of explosives and police killed the third.

At least 80 people are thought to have died in the threatre, after armed individuals took scores hostage during a performance by Eagles for Death Metal.
