Syringes and needles found in Paris gunman’s room
“A black Clio found at Place Albert-Kahn in the 18th arrondissement of Paris, could have been used in the preparation of the attacks”, a police source told AFP.

But it has emerged the twisted terrorist left a trail of chillingly mundane objects in his hotel room before carrying out the massacre.
He requested two large rooms that could accommodate a number of people for a week, paying with his own bank card. The publication said police had confirmed that Abdeslam had booked into the hotel but NBC News was not immediately able to verify the report. The hotel has no security cameras.
The hotel’s computer desk from reception has been seized, possibly to test for fingerprints, but the hotel doesn’t have CCTV installed.
The Alfortville hotel was used by at least two of the attackers.
Syringes, a set of short needles and plastic tubes were also found scattered around a coffee table.
It is common practice for Jihadis involved in suicidal attacks to take drugs such as heroin and cocaine so as to steel themselves.
The raids were not exclusively linked to Islamic extremism, but also arms trafficking and the drugs trade.
It is thought that Salah Abdeslam, one of two suspects still believed to be on the run, was in the room with his brother – who blew himself up in the attacks shortly after.
The flat was rented from November 10-17 and it could have housed “several people” in the days leading up to the attacks, the source said.
Police previously said Abdeslam was stopped near the border in a auto with two other men but released after being questioned and having his ID checked in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Abdeslam, 26, is thought to have played a key role in the attacks and has become one of the worlds most wanted men.

Police were still trying to determine who stayed in the rooms.
