Cruz said that Trump has a problem with strong women.
“I’m going to beat him for the nomination”, Cruz insisted.
Both Trump and Cruz are trying to garner enough delegates to win the Republican nomination ahead of the party’s convention this summer. “No need to “spill the beans” read the caption.
The group has no apparent ties to the Cruz campaign.
“You probably know by now that most of the things that Donald Trump says have no basis in reality”, she told reporters.
Ted Cruz is walking a fine line as the outsider who rapidly – some would say astonishingly so – has become the Republican establishment’s standard-bearer to defeat Donald Trump.
“These smears are completely false, they’re offensive to Heidi and me, they’re offensive to our daughters, and they’re offensive to everyone Donald continues to personally attack”, Cruz said in the statement. Cruz reamed Trump for that tweet Thursday and urged Trump to “leave Heidi the hell alone”. But this week, they were used in a way that they were clearly not meant to be used: in an ad from the super PAC Make America Awesome supporting Ted Cruz.
After the Texas senator denied involvement, Mr Trump shared a picture juxtaposing a glamorous Mrs Trump with a grimacing Mrs Cruz.
“It reveals a lot about class – that Donald’s instinct is to try to attack my wife and sully her”, he said. “And I would expect most independent women would appreciate that”, she said.
Trump, according to CNN, was responding “to a Facebook advertisement targeted to Mormons that shows Trump’s wife, Melania, posing nude”.
Cruz responded with these words, “Donald, real men don’t attack women”.
Bush made the announcement a little more than a month after dropping his bid for the presidency and about a week after Trump won 66 of the 67 counties in Florida’s Republican primary. “If someone wants to comment on it, they can talk to my lawyer”, she responded.

Cruz’s wording was mindful of Andrew Shepherd in Aaron Sorkin’s The American President, who delivers a speech at the end of the movie slamming his political opponent that has lobbed personal attacks at his girlfriend.
