Take a holiday tour of the White House in virtual reality
Looking for some Christmas decoration inspiration? It’s a really neat video, and even if you don’t have Cardboard, it’s definitely worth a look, seeing numerous rooms that have been in the history books. Google released 360 degrees White House video will walk you through corridors and rooms like you’ve never seen them before. “We also created a Google Expedition of the holiday tour, so that teachers participating in the Expeditions Pioneer Program can take their students on a virtual field trip to the White House as well”.

360 degree video has taken off this year, and now yet another creation use of the technology is hitting YouTube.
The VR tour was posted on The White House’s YouTube page, showcasing the residence decked out in full Christmas splendor.

Ever since it was launched in September, Google Expeditions has kept a low profile, quietly equipping schools with Google Cardboard VR viewers and smartphones. That’s great, considering the great potential offered by virtual reality, that of transporting users into exotic locations and other dimensions.
