Here is how Trump’s “birther” campaign unfolded. I expect him to carry states like Ohio, North Carolina, Florida, Michigan, maybe even Pennsylvania. Why? “Of course she does”, Kofinis said.

“The presidency doesn’t change who you are, it reveals who you are”. ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos presses him about this on “This Week” in September, and he declines to answer. He joked that the “next time I show up I’ve got to buy a ticket”. “And I just don’t talk about it”, he said.
“For five years, he has led the birther movement to delegitimise our first black president”, she told a gathering of black women. If Mrs Clinton wins, it will make her, at 69, the second oldest behind Reagan.
Mr Trump used Twitter to try to slap down the criticism from Mr Gates saying he “knows nothing about me”.

Washington Post columnist Greg Sargent writes that Trump’s statement was merely meant to shift attention away from the issue as the election approaches.
“There can be no other interpretation”, he said at the time.
The upcoming USA presidential debates are going to be the most interesting and exciting political events in contemporary politics. Her campaign manager, Robby Mook, released a statement saying Trump “has a pattern of inciting people to violence”. Unlike her husband, who forged a strong bond with Clinton during her four years as his secretary of state, Mrs. Obama does not have a particularly close relationship with the Democratic nominee, though the two are said to be friendly. I finished it. I finished it. That point was particularly evident in the new NBC/Wall Street Journal/Marist state polls this week that showed her with softer support from Latinos and young voters than Obama.

“We (also) need someone who is steady and measured, because when you’re making life or death, war or peace decisions, a President can’t just pop off”, Obama said.
