The directive had come after an emergency meeting held by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss the Pathankot attack as well as the attack on the Indian consulate at Mazar-i-Sharif in Afghanistan.

Pakistan on Monday again condemned the airbase attack in India and said it is “working on the leads provided by” New Delhi to help investigate the deadly assault in line with Islamabad’s commitment to effectively counter and eradicate terrorism.
He said six terrorists have been neutralised and two bodies are charred beyond recognition.
The attackers had crossed over from Pakistan and the Pakistan-based terrorist group Jaish-e-Mohammed may be responsible, according to India’s Home Secretary Rajiv Mehrishi.
In the first known claim of responsibility, the United Jehad Council, an alliance of 13 Kashmir-based rebel groups, claimed that its “highway squad”, which normally attacks military convoys, carried out the attack.
Taking to the media here, MEA official spokesperson Vikas Swarup said the government’s policy towards Pakistan is clear and consistent. But he added that the combing operation was likely to continue for days before the air base could be declared completely safe.
Both the leaders also expressed their resolve to fight terrorism through mutual cooperation of their governments. “So it’s something that everybody can attack more”, he said. It also claimed that Pathankot issue will be raised before talks with Pakistan. Five militants and seven Indian troops have been killed in four days of fighting, the BBC reports, adding that clearance operations within the base are still continuing.
“Probably, they have brought high quality explosives”, Parrikar said.
“Prime Minister of Pakistan called the Indian Prime Minister today”.

On December 6, Indian National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and his Pakistani counterpart Naseer Khan Janjua met in Bangkok. The official said six militants had been killed. Separately, addressing a gathering of intellectuals, parliamentarians and diplomats in Colombo, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said it was time for South Asian countries to focus their energies on better preparing themselves to handle the global challenges.
