Tamar Braxton Leaves ‘DWTS’

Kinda gross. There wasn’t a ton of salsa moves, but we were treated to Lindsay’s unbelievable legs and plenty of lifts highlighting Alek’s incredible strength.

Alexa Penavega’s contemporary kicked my butt.

During “DWTS” rehearsals with her partner, Mark Ballas, PenaVega talked about her six-year battle with bulimia.

Carlos PenaVega and Witney Carson: 27; 24.

Thankfully, she returned to the show to avoid elimination. Derek feels the pressure of choreographing for such an exquisite dancer as Bindi, but he is thankfully up to the challenge. This girl has a few serious maturity and poise. Her Viennese waltz was a attractive picture. She is fantastic for performing, but I am with Jules, she needs to eat and relax!

Braxton bailed on a recent hospital visit to perform a rumba number with fellow contestant Nick Carter, believing her illness was only pneumonia. I’m just happy that she was all right and she was able to come back and finish out the show.

“We have now been in this competition for 8 weeks”. The choreography did not match the power or the excitement of the song.

And while Bindi Irwin and Alexa PenaVega had a flawless night of dancing solo and together, it was the PenaVega’s who found themselves in jeopardy to be eliminated for the competition. Their Charleston was inspired by the show Chicago to the song “All that Jazz” and it was just phenomenal.

Nick Carter and Sharna Burgess, and Tamar Braxton and Val Chmerkovskiy’s dance were not revealed yet; however, the former Backstreet Boys member will dance to Tape Five’s “A Cool Cat in Town”, and Tamar will dance to James Vincent McMorrow’s “Wicked Game”.

Last week, Alexa was frustrated by a slip during her powerful tribute to David and Goliath, but this week she’s putting it past her with a highly personal dance. Would she make it? First of all, host Tom Bergeron announced that after pushing herself to the limit with other obligations plus rehearsals, Tamar Braxton ended up in the hospital with pneumonia. 27 for the team. Neither Alexa nor Carlos deserve to go home in sixth place. It was way too much emotion for this DWTS addict. “I’m proud of her for getting that off her chest”.

Are you sad to see Alexa go?

They both get overly analytical during rehearsals because they’ve set the bar so high for themselves. What they serving in that water over at ABC???
