Tamasha Day 2 Collection:Imtiaz Ali’s latest entertainer Tamasha, featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone, has earned Rs 24.04 crore within two days of its release.
It looks like Ranbir Kapoor fans can heave a sigh of relief as the actor might finally have a hit on his hands with Tamasha.
Trade Analysts are saying that the Film belonging to this style, treatment and presentation find their own path, and what works for Tamasha is an extended time period available at its disposal. The film has shown good growth on Saturday with collections set to be around Rs 13.50 crore net approx (Rs 130.5 million).
According to a statement by the film’s makers, the opening day collection of the movie amounted to Rs.10.87 crore while it collected Rs.13.17 crore on day two.
Taran Adarsh also revealed the Indian box office collection figures, he tweeted: #Tamasha has a strong weekend. Total: Rs 38.23 cr.
As of now, Tamasha has no competition at the box-office in sight, even with Hate Story 3 releasing this Friday, since it appeals to a different genre.

Deepika further said she doesn’t know much of the field but she wants to produce films that people will enjoy.
