Actress Sandhya, popularly known by her stage name Kadhal Sandhya, got married to Venkat Chandrasekharan at Guruvayoor temple on Sunday.

The duo was supposed to marry in Chennai on 6th December but due to floods, they went all the way to Guruvayoor temple, Kerala to marry.
Not just that, Sandhya’s family were stuck in their apartment without any means of communication with the groom’s family. Now, Sandhya’s family wants to organise a grand wedding reception after Chennai gets back to normalcy.
Sandhya was last seen in a cameo appearance in the Tamil film “Kaththukkutti”.
The actress made her debut as an actress in 2004 with Tamil film Kaadhal, for which she earned a Tamil Nadu State Film Award. She bagged a major role in Kannada Super Star Vishnuvardhan’s final movie “Aptarakshaka” which won multiple accolades for her performance.

The actress is expected to continue her professional life post marriage, as she has already taken up a host of films in Tamil and Malayalam, which are presently being filmed.
